NSW Automotive Parts Distributor SCA has selected iSupply Warehouse Management System to provide it with a state-of-the-art Supply Chain Solution. As well as providing warehouse management functionality, iSupply will also electronically link SCA with its suppliers, freight providers and customers.
Phase 1, LSI will automate SCA’s warehouse with 180,000 sku’s, processing around 800 orders per day. iSupply is to be integrated with SCA’s ERP. The culmination of Phase 1 will see SCA Customers being emailed an Advance Ship Notice (ASN) with order, freight and expected delivery date details.
Phase 2, will see SCA set up to electronically trade with it suppliers using Electronic Data Interchange protocols. SCA will also electronically trade with both its 3rd party freight carriers and its own fleet of vehicles (using iSupply Track and Trace technology), specifically to capture proof-of-delivery information to measure its Delivered-In-Full-On-Time (DIFOT) performance. Also in this phase LSI will implement its Business Intelligence module, which will allow SCA to design and compile its own reports (in a range of user defined formats) which will be automatically emailed to the SCA management team.
