Jaguar LandRover (JLR) has selected iSupply Freight Management System to manage the distribution and delivery of spare parts to its Australia wide dealership.

Interestingly, the JLR warehouse business is managed by a third-party logistics organisation using SAP (hosted in the UK) but JLR insisted on full control of its domestic transport, in particular costs and transporter KPIs.

Aware that LSI can provide an end-to-end warehouse solution the 3PL has engaged in dialogue with LSI to explore the possibility of implementing iSupplyWMS in its Melbourne facility.

Currently an iSupplyLite user (RF Pick/Pack – Despatch) integrated with their ERP system – Sage but is in the process of transitioning the operation and existing interfaces to Dynamics 365. The receipt of product, with its complex product attributes, from both local manufacturing and overseas shipments is fully automated with the extensive use of product identification labels.

In addition to its Wodonga DC, iSupplyWMS also manages TiA overflow stock in a 3PL warehouse.
